Question - How can i to separate plastic drinking glasses?
i have a number of plastic drinking glasses that are stuck together and i would like to get them apart. I have tried everything, i have tried heating them and oiling them up. what are your suggestions?
Answer
For starters, when you apply heat to anything it will make it expand and you defiantly don’t want to do that in this situation.
It really depends on what is sticking them together if it is some type of foreign liquid or substance then it may be hard to get apart. never the less, try put some ice and washing machine detergent in a sink let this soak for about 10 minuets then give it a try. you may want to dry you hand and cup first so you can get a good grip on it.

ANSWER: Everything always depends on the circumstances. If you are at home on a normal basis, glass is a clear choice. If however, you are somewhere away from home and not sure about the hygiene conditions, I would always opt for plastic drinking glasses. You cannot tell how or even whether, the glasses have been washed. As you can see, you are not able to determine what has happened to the glasses prior to your arrival. For assurance, it would probably be a good idea to have some plastic glasses on hand for use, straight out of the packet, you can be sure it’s never been used.
